At Copelands, we specialize in fabrication of custom designed components and equipment that are difficult to machine using traditional metalworking methods. Utilizing our custom CNC laser cutting equipment, we can make precise cuts on thick steel plate. For this project, we cut a circular pattern into 0.5" thick carbon steel to fabricate a heavy duty tube sheet. The finished sheet weighs 250 lbs. and can be produced with a one week lead time.

Many laser cutters can only process steel up to 6mm (less than ¼"), but our PlateLaser can cut mild steel or stainless steel up to 1" thick and 10’ x 20’ wide. Our facility is equipped with cranes that can lift up to 10 tons.
